Add a party invitation to your calendar
Received an invitation picture? Share it into Tandlo on iPhone, check the details and save a plan. Send your RSVP separately using the organiser's reply link or contact details.
How do I add a party invitation picture to my calendar?
If an invitation arrives as a photo, screenshot or AI-generated picture, check its date, start and finish times, venue and reply deadline. You can type those details into your usual calendar, or use Tandlo to help read the picture.
- Open Ask Tandlo and choose Photo to select an invitation picture saved on your phone. For a text invitation, paste the message into Ask Tandlo. On iPhone, you can also open the invitation in your chat, tap Share and choose Tandlo where that action is available.
- Choose the child who is going, then check the suggested date, times, place and notes against the original invitation.
- Correct anything unclear before choosing Save plan. If the finish time is missing, ask the organiser.
- Your plan is already saved in Tandlo. Choose Done when you have finished; you do not have to add it anywhere else. If you want a separate copy, use Add a copy to my phone's calendar on iPhone. The copy does not automatically stay in sync.
Tandlo receives the item you share, not the rest of your chat. Keep the organiser's original message so you can check later changes.
Video description: an invitation picture arrives in a chat. The parent shares the picture to Tandlo, chooses the child, checks the suggested party details and saves the plan. The dated invitation is a fictional example.
Does saving the invitation send an RSVP?
No. Reply to the host using the contact details or reply link they supplied. A saved plan does not tell the organiser that your child is coming. Keep any reply deadline separate from the party date.
Hosting the party?
Make an invitation in Tandlo and collect the replies with the party plan. Standard designs and guest reply pages are Free; AI illustrations are a Tandlo Family feature.
