ClassDojo dates: calendar sync and adding plans to Tandlo

First check ClassDojo's own calendar option

ClassDojo lists Calendar Sync to Google or Apple Calendar among its optional Plus features. Its Plus FAQ says features depend on the package and prices vary. Check the options offered in your own parent account before choosing a subscription.

If you already use that option and only need the school events in your usual calendar, start there. Avoid adding the same event again from a screenshot.

Bring a specific event or notice into Tandlo

Open the original event or post containing the date, time and location. On iPhone, take a screenshot of the relevant details and share that image to Tandlo using the steps below.

This is useful when a notice also mentions a reply deadline, things to bring or another next step. Check the suggested plan and keep those actions separate from the event time.

We have not verified a parent calendar-link export from ClassDojo into Tandlo. ClassDojo's separate web calendar-sync instructions explicitly address teachers and school staff, so we do not present those as parent setup steps.

1. Open the event details so the date, time and place are visible. Take a screenshot of just the information you need.
2. Open Ask Tandlo, choose Photo and select the screenshot. You can also open the picture in Photos, tap Share and choose Tandlo.
3. Choose the child, then compare the suggested details with the original notice. Correct anything unclear before choosing Save plan.
4. If you want a copy in Apple Calendar or another calendar app, open the saved plan and choose Save to my calendar.

Saving a screenshot creates a plan to review; it is not a live subscription. Check the original notice for changes and update the plan if needed. Tandlo receives the item you share, not access to your school account.

If the school sends the details by email

For a single email, copy the relevant text and paste it into Ask Tandlo. You can also forward the message containing the actual dates to your Tandlo address. Check the suggested event, child and any separate tasks before saving. A notification that only says there is a new message may not contain enough information; open the original first.

Check before you save

Check the date, finish time, location and child. Look for an existing copy in your calendar before adding another. A saved plan does not book a place, pay a fee, give consent or reply to the school; complete those actions in the school's original service.
