Forward school emails from Yahoo Mail to Tandlo
Forward a Yahoo school email from your phone, understand paid automatic forwarding, or bring the details into Ask Tandlo.
Start in Tandlo
Open Settings, then School emails. Choose your school senders and copy your private Tandlo forwarding address. Use the full address shown in the app. If Tandlo asks you to confirm your email address or a sender, complete that step before testing.

Recommended: forward the school email you need
- Open the message containing the dates in Yahoo Mail.
- Choose Forward from the message or reply controls.
- Paste your private Tandlo address in the recipient field.
- Check that the useful text and attachments are included, then send.
- Open Tandlo and review the suggested plans before saving.
You can do this from your phone or a browser. Forward the actual message, not a notification that only says a new item is waiting in a school portal.
Does Yahoo offer automatic forwarding?
Yahoo advertises automatic forwarding as a paid feature through Yahoo Mail Plus or an eligible forwarding subscription. Availability depends on your account and region. Check Yahoo's current automatic-forwarding help and the options in your account before paying.
That feature forwards incoming mail from the mailbox. It is not the selected-school-sender setup described in our Outlook and iCloud guides. We recommend forwarding individual school messages to Tandlo instead of enabling whole-inbox forwarding. A Tandlo sender list does not prevent unrelated messages from being transmitted by a whole-inbox rule.
Why can't I find the forwarding setting?
It may depend on your Yahoo plan, region or desktop interface. You do not need to buy a Yahoo upgrade to use the manual steps above. Yahoo's folder filters should not be confused with a school-only forwarding rule.
Already forwarding your Yahoo mailbox?
Review its destination and scope in Yahoo settings before adding another route. Avoid sending the same message through two paths. If you want to stop automatic forwarding, remove or disable that destination in Yahoo; changing a Tandlo sender preference does not turn off Yahoo's forwarding.
Only have one email? Ask Tandlo
Copy the relevant email text into Ask Tandlo, or choose Photo for a screenshot or letter. You can also use Share and choose Tandlo where your app offers it. Check the suggested details before saving. Adding a plan does not send a reply, pay a fee or give school consent.
Check the first result
If nothing arrives, compare the address you pasted with Tandlo's current address and check the school's actual sender address, including any school platform. A message that only links to a portal may not contain the dates; open it and bring the relevant text or screenshot into Ask Tandlo instead.
Keep the original email for attachments and later changes. Check for an existing event before adding another copy.
